Imagine Hearing These Words On That Day

Mat 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mat 28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

Mat 28:8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Mat 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Resurrection Power, Resurrection Life, and Resurrection Words.

Holy Conversation

1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
1Pe 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Now why would God call us to be holy? Is this even possible, for mere humans to be holy? What is it to speak and be holy in all manner of conversation?

1) most holy thing, a saint
1) manner of life, conduct, behaviour

Father, help us to be pleasing in your sight.

Uncommon Grace

Today I was referred to a post at a Christian blog that truly blessed me. It shares a real life situation and God's grace in the midst of a major storm.

May you be blessed, encouraged and find the compassion and grace of God as you read it.

Uncommon Grace

Jesus Said Walk In This Word

Mat 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Have you ever wondered how many times God has placed a situation before you to fulfill this scripture in your life? That homeless man you saw walking down the street, knowing that he was homeless. That person that asked for money to buy food, knowing he was a beggar. That individual that asked for your help, knowing that he was in need.

We all daily, weekly and monthly have situations that are right in the reality of our life where God is calling us to be givers, and not turn others away. Where God is calling us to walk in love, mercy and compassion.

May we all have eye's to see, ears to hear, and hearts of compassion for others.

Blessings, in Christ.

Angelic Encounters

We hear about angels all the time. On television, in the movies, in conversations, and we even see them in gift shops. There has always been a fascination with angels.

The following ministry site explores angels and the angelic according to scripture. Did you know that there are angels walking among us?

Home Fellowships

I just want to encourage you to have a weekly home fellowship. Simply a night of prayer, worship, and ministry time. Providing a safe place for others to gather, to worship, to share fellowship and receive prayer.

I have attended many home fellowships over the years, and even led a few. There is a wonderful presence of God that just manifests when people come together and worship in a home fellowship type setting. Many church's have come forth and been planted through home fellowships. In fact, the early church was all about home fellowships, sharing meals, prayer, and simply believers gathering.

You might say who would lead worship. No doubt that worship music is important. That's easy, burn some cd's and put the songs in just the right order. I use to lead home fellowships with cd's, we would gather, and worship for hours. Some nights of worship would go on for 3 to 4 hours non stop. It was awesome.

So consider it. Holding a home fellowship, inviting others, and simply sharing fellowship in Christ. You will be blessed.
